Sharlene Kenneda

Sharlene Kenneda, 52 of Randleman, NC formerly of Simon, WV departed this life on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from her residence surrounded by her family.

Born November 14, 1966 at Logan she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Evalyn (Combs) Kenneda.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister: Glenna Kenneda; three brothers: Frankie, Ronnie and Randall Kenneda.

Sharlene was a born again Christian and loved to go to church.  She was a faithful member of “The Fathers House” Church in Thomasville, NC where her pastor was Percy Hagerman.  She also loved to play solitaire on her computer.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Sharlene and to mourn her passing include her loving sisters: Christine Robinette of Randleman, NC, Aretta (Matthew) Blankenship of Clearfork, WV, Susan (Howard) Blankenship of Simon, WV; her brothers: Jessie (Belinda) Kennedy of Hanover, WV and Tommy (Sherry) Kenneda of Amherstdale, WV; eight nieces and nine nephews; a very special friend/caretaker: Alicia Polito and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family on Friday, July 5, 2019 at the Apostolic House of Faith, Simon, WV from 6-9 pm with a special service beginning at 7:00 pm.  Funeral services will commence on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 12:00 pm with the Rev. Todd Kenneda, Rev. Barry Brooks and Rev. Rocky Morgan officiating.

Burial will follow at the Kenneda Cemetery at Foundation Fork, Simon, WV.

Sharlene will be carried to her final resting place by her family and friends.

She is gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
