Sue E. White

Sue E. White, 69, of Bruno, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 28, 2019, leaving from Logan Regional Medical Center.

Born January 25, 1950, at Logan County, she was the daughter of the late Hile and Virginia Miller Brickles.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Carolyn Yvonne White; one son, Curtis E. White, Jr.; one sister, Shela Workman; and one brother, Hile Edward Brickles.

Sue was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. During most of her working life, she was employed with PRIDE of Logan County, where she effortlessly devoted her time to caring for others. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing. A devout Christian, Sue loved going to church and serving the Lord and was a member of the Bruno Church of God since the age of 10.

Those left to love and cherish her memory include her loving husband of 49 years, Curtis E. White of Bruno; her beloved son, Jonathan (Chrissy) White of Landville; three grandchildren: Jonathan Chase White, Chayce White, and Dustin White all of Landville; two sisters: Tina Blankenship of Castalia, NC., and Margaret (Robert) Dempsey of Chillicothe, OH; one special sister-in-law, whom was more like a sister, Sue Grimmett of Bruno. Sue also leaves behind many nieces and nephews along with a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at the Bruno Church of God from 6-9 pm.

Funeral services will commence on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at the Bruno Church of God at 1:00 pm with Pastor Roger Frye officiating.

Following the service, Sue will be laid to rest in the Browning-Grimmett Cemetery at Bruno. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Her wonderful smile and tender heart will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
