Thelma Lane Lee

Thelma Lane Lee, 69, passed away Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019 at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Thelma was born in Isaban, WV., Feb. 11, 1950, daughter of the late Thomas C. Lee, Sr., and Esther B. (Estep) Lee. 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by brothers: Tommy C. Lee, Jr., Donald R. Lee, Larry E. Lee, Jackie D. Lee; and sisters: Nellie Jo Greenwood, Carol Jean Newell, and Helen Joyce Lee.

Thelma loved playing bingo and listening to  gospel music.   

She is survived by a daughter Esther Michelle Lee of Lucasville, OH; brothers Leo D. (Trudy) Lee, Columbus, OH and Clinton B. Lee, Paoli, IN, and one sister, Marylou (Robert Wayne) Warf of Columbus OH; grandsons Thomas W. Lee, Sr., and Lamar A. Hampton, both of Columbus, OH; ten great grandchildren; Angel Lee, McKaylynn Lee, Magdelynn Lee, Maribelle Lee, Thomas W. Lee, Jr., Michael Browning, Lamar Cooper, Giovanni Hampton, Luccianno Hampton, Lillianna Bella Hampton, a host of nieces and nephews and other family and friends as well as her fur buddy Tuffy who was at her bedside at her passing.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 12:00 to 1: 00 pm at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, Gilbert, WV., where funeral services will commence from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with Michael Ward officiating.   Burial will immediately follow at the Hollywood Cemetery Gilbert, WV.

Thelma will be carried to her final resting place by her family and friends.
