Willie Dean Kenneda, 56, of Pemberton, formerly of Long Branch, departed this life on Saturday, May 5, 2018.
Born December 2, 1961, at Pineville, he was the son of the late Willie and Dolly June (Woody) Kenneda.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Lavern “Sissy” Lowe and one brother, Danny Kennedy.
Willie Dean enjoyed hunting, digging ginseng, being in the mountains and nature. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.
Those left to love and cherish his memory are his daughters: Kristie Kenneda and Kayla Miller both of Pemberton; his grandchildren: Madison Kennedy, Ethan Sullivan, Jaden Hatfield, Brianna Miller, and Isabella Lilly, all of Pemberton; three brothers: Curtis Kennedy of Simon, Leon Kennedy of Hanover, and Clifford Kennedy of Fayetteville; three sisters: Brenda Parson of Man, Sharon Stokes of Coal Mountain, and Jackie Hatfield of Elizabeth. Willie Dean also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and a host of other dear relatives and friends.
Friends may gather with the family on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at the Upper Room Jesus Name Church at Long Branch after 6 pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at 1:00 pm at the church with Rev. Roy Lee Blankenship, Sr., officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lowe Family Cemetery at Hanover. Willie Dean’s nephews will serve as pallbearers.
He is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
