Alice Angeline Williamson, 80, of Bruno, WV went home to be with her Lord, Sunday, October 21, 2018, from the Dignity Hospice House of Chapmanville.
Born July 5, 1938 at Christian, WV, she was the daughter of the late Alice Brooke (Grimmett) Plymale.
In addition to her mother she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Ransom Yank Williamson; her son: Ronald Williamson; brothers: John, Bill and Jay Plymale; sister: Ruby Plymale.
Alice was a retired school cook and was well known for her wonderful cooking. She attended the Bruno Church of God faithfully for many years.
Those left to love and cherish her memory include her sons: Douglas (Dreama) Williamson, Timmy Joe (Tina) Williamson and Billy Williamson; grandchildren: Ann (Dennis) Blankenship, D.K. (Summer) Williamson, Jimmy (Brandi) Williamson, Brooke (Bucky) Thomas, Michael (Kristen) Scites, Stephanie (Dennis) Toler, T.J. (Kayla) Williamson, Katie Williamson, Billy Williamson, II, and Raelynn Williamson; great-grandchildren: Kelsie, Caleb, Preston, Hayden, Chaz, Hunter, Calisa, Kylie, Bentley, Cymiah, Bryson, Celijah, Reese and Whitlee. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and a host of other dear relatives and friends.
Friends may gather with the family Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 6 to 9 pm at the Bruno Church of God, where funeral services will commence on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 11:00 am, with the Rev. Roger Frye and Rev. Mike VanNatter officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens at Pecks Mill.
Alice will be carried to her final resting place by her grandsons.
Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
