Allen Junior Lester

Allen Junior Lester, 61 of Princeton, WV departed this life Thursday, August 3, 2023 from his residence.

Born July 23, 1962 at Man, WV he was the son of Goldie (Woolum) Robinson and the late Marshall Lester.

In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Ola and Arthur Woolum; aunts: Rosie Taylor, Eva Morgan, and Myrtle Hall; uncles: Harvey, Charles, and Hubert Woolum.

Allen enjoyed watching western movies, making new friends, and spending time with his family.  He was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his loving mother Goldie (Woolum) Robinson of Princeton, WV; brother: Darin Lester of NC; half-sister: Angie Robinson of Williamson, WV; half-brother: Greg Robinson of NC; aunt: Pearl (Buttons) Henderson of Gilbert, WV; uncles: Ravin Woolum of Varney, WV, Alvin Woolum of Coal Mountain, WV, and Billy Woolum of Varney, WV.  He also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Friday, August 11, 2023 from 6:00 till 9:00 pm in the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, Gilbert, WV.  Funeral services will commence there in the Chapel on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Sammy Lester officiating.  Burial will follow in the Woolum Family Cemetery at Rock House, Brenton, WV.

Allen will be carried to his resting place by pallbearers Brian, Gary, and Aaron Caserta, Jessie, Jody, and Charles Woolum, Jr.  Honorary pallbearers are: Darin Lester, Jay and Frank Woolum.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
