Angela Diane Mitchell

Angela Diane Mitchell, 47 of Wharncliffe, WV departed this life Thursday, December 5, 2024, from Pikeville Medical Center.  Born October 5, 1977, at Man, WV she was the daughter of Rita (Ward) Mitchell and the late Ward Lee Mitchell.

In addition to her father, she is also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Clarence and Mabel Ward; paternal grandparents: Connie and Vernie Mitchell.

Angela was a 1995 graduate of Gilbert High School, she enjoyed reading, playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends.  She was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Those left to love and cherish her memory are her mother Rita (Ward) Mitchell of the home; her brother: Jason (Amanda) Mitchell; her niece: Leandrea Skyler Mitchell, all of Huff Creek; her special fur baby "Boo Boo" who she loved so much.  She also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted at the Ward Family Cemetery, Wharncliffe, WV Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 2:00 pm with Pastor Danny Ward officiating.

Angela will be taken to her resting place by her family and friends.

Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
