Anita (Huff) Ellis

Anita (Huff) Ellis, 69 of Baisden, WV departed this life Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from her residence.  Born September 28, 1954, at Welch, WV she was the daughter of the late Ford and Jessie (Keen) Huff.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her daughter: Sandra Kay Belcher; son: Arthur Eric “Gabby” Ellis; sisters: Henrietta Huff, Wanda Sue (Huff) Omer, Donna Kay (Huff) Cline, Mary Jane (Huff) Morgan; brothers: Samuel Ford, Timothy Eric, Thomas David, Gregory, Robert, Michael “Red” Huff.

Anita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, a very kindhearted person, who enjoyed 4-wheel riding. going on picnics, and spending time with her family and friends.  She was of the Church of God Faith.

Those left to love and cherish her memory is her loving husband of 53 years: Arthur Ellis of the home; her children: Jessie “Buckwheat’ Ellis, Doug and Gage Ellis, Savannah and Braxton Belcher; grandchildren: Kaylee and Seanna Ellis, Chase, Isaiah, and Nevaeh Grimmett; sisters: Joyce Cline and her twin sister, Annetta (Johnny) Blankenship; brother: William Huff; sons-in-law: Josh Grimmett and Mark Belcher.  Anita also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, church family and other relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Saturday, July 6, 2024, from 1:00 till 2:00 pm at the Full Gospel Church of God Church at Baisden, WV where funeral services will commence at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jonas Trent, Rev. Ralphy Manuel, Rev. Marvin Joe Bradford, and Rev. Learmon Mounts officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ellis-May Cemetery at Baisden, WV.

Anita will be carried to her resting place by pallbearers: Danny G, Billy Jack, Hollie Ray, and Shorty Ellis, Lonnie Cline, Jr., and Mark Belcher.  Honorary pallbearers are: Herbie, Gage, Jeffery, Jack, Larry, Andy, and  Michael Ellis, Chester Beavers, Johnny, and Mark Blankenship, David Cline, Bartley Hatfield, Ralph, Johnathan, Zack, and T.J Manuel.

Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
