Audrey Lawson Obituary

Audrey Ann Lawson, 46, of Wharncliffe, West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. She was born on December 1, 1979, in Kentucky to Rita Cline and Russell Daniels.

Audrey was the devoted wife of Edward Lawson, with whom she shared 22 years of love, loyalty, and companionship. Audrey was known by everyone who met her for her incredibly sweet and gentle heart. She had a quiet kindness about her that made people feel welcomed and loved, and she carried that spirit with her everywhere she went.

Her mother was truly her whole world, and the love between them was deep and unbreakable. Audrey was a woman of faith and attended the Pentecostal church, finding comfort and strength in her beliefs throughout her life.

She found joy in the little things that made her smile. Audrey loved Mickey Mouse and took great pride in decorating for every holiday, especially when she could include her favorite character. She also loved being outdoors happily cutting grass with a push mower or weed eater, something she did with pride and care. Spending time with her sister, whom she affectionately called her nail tech, and her dog Lucy-both of whom stayed faithfully by her side.

She was preceded in death by her infant brother, Russell Dewayne Daniels, whom she now finally gets the chance to meet in heaven; her fur baby that meant everything to her Susie Ann Lawson, her step father, Jonathan Cline; her childhood best friend and cousin, Kimberly Breeding; her beloved aunts Sharon Brewer, Nina Hatfield, and Jenny Daniels; her uncles Carl Wolford and Bruce Daniels, her cousins Christopher Wolford and Danny “Bubby” Daniels.

Those left to mourn and grieve the loss of Audrey is her husband, Edward Lawson; her mother, Rita Cline; her father, Russell (Donna) Daniels; her sister, Vickie (Michael) Sammons; her cherished dog, Lucy, and a host of family and friends. Including her special friends, Anthony & Mary Adams and Tonya Moore.

Friends may gather with the family Tuesday, March 17, 2026, in the chapel of Mounts Funeral Home from 6:00 till 9:00 p.m.  Funeral services will commence there in the chapel on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Ralphy Manuel and Rev. Marvin Joe Bradford officiating.  Burial will follow in the Daniels Cemetery at Glen Alum, WV.

Audrey will be carried to her resting place by her family and friends.

Audrey’s gentle spirit, warm smile, and loving heart will never be forgotten. She had a special way of bringing comfort and light to those around her, and the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds peace in knowing she is surrounded by loved ones in heaven and resting in eternal peace.

Her memory will forever be treasured, and the love she shared will remain a lasting light for those she leaves behind. ❤️
