Barbara Jean Mounts, 81 of Baisden, WV., gained her heavenly wings on April 2, 2022 from her residence, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born December 5, 1940 at Baisden, WV she was the daughter of the late Auther and Dollie (Lester) Testerman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Billy Mounts and their only child Billy “Todd” Mounts; brothers: Coy, Julian “Boo”, Carl “Whitey” and Lawrence Testerman; sisters: Hazel Hatfield, Joyce Compton, and Helen Mounts.

Jean enjoyed listening to Jimmy Swaggart, spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren, and cooking. If you ever visited her, you didn’t leave without eating.

Those left to love and cherish her memory are her granddaughters Jessica (Robert) Runyon, and Tabatha (JR) Adkins, all of Baisden; great-grandchildren: PFC Scott Collins, JT (Alexis) Cline, Lacey Cline, and Josie Adkins, all of Baisden; her daughter-in-law: Sonja Mounts of Horsepen; brothers: Charles Testerman of Baisden and Butch Testerman of New York; sister: Nell Anderson of Gilbert. She also leaves behind a host of family and friends, whom she cherished.

Per her request she will be cremated.

She may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
