Barbara Jean (Blackburn) Wiley, 75 of Baisden, WV was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from St. Mary’s Medical Center. Born November 21, 1949, at Baisden, WV she was the loving daughter of the late Albert and Wonnie (Cline) Blackburn.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brother: Earl Blackburn; her sister: Norma (Micky) Vinson.
Barbara enjoyed camping and cooking for her family, especially on holidays. She loved riding bicycles and having picnics, she loved being around her grandchildren, she devoted herself to being the best wife, mother, and grandmother to her family. She was of the Church of God Faith.
Those left to love and cherish her memory are her husband of 59 years: Carless Wiley of Baisden, WV; her daughter: Carolyn (Ricky) Cline of Pie, WV; her son: Carless Michael (Carrie) Wiley of Beckley, WV; grandsons: Ricky (Chavis) Cline, Michael Shane Wiley, Christopher Wiley; granddaughter: Barbara A. Cline; brothers: Sambo and Ricky Blackburn; her sister: Drema (Joe) McVickers; nephew: Clark Blackburn. She also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives, friends, and loved ones.
Friends may gather with the family Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 6:00 till 9:00 pm the chapel of Mounts Funeral Home where funeral services will commence on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Bill Cresong officiating. Burial will follow in the Perry Cemetery, Gilbert Creek Road, Gilbert, WV.
Barbara will be carried to her resting place by pallbearers: Ricky Cline, Miguel Bethany, Bryon Jude, Derrick Cline, Jamie and CJ Matney. Honorary pallbearers are Sambo Blackburn and Joe McVickers.
Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
