Barry Browning, 78 of Wharnclife, WV departed this life Friday, August 16, 2024, from his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Born June 2, 1946, at Welch, WV, he was the son of the late Tabor and Maxine (May) Browning.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his first wife: Joyce (Justice) Browning.
Barry was a retired Coal Miner, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of the Justice Church of God.
Those left to love and cherish his memory are his wife Ruth Elaine (Morris) Browning of Wharncliffe, WV; his daughters: Lena (Browning) Mudd of Abingdon, VA, and Fran (Browning) Pigg of Fredericktown, MO; sons: Barry Marvin Browning, Jr (Stacy Hatfield) and Benjamin Browning (Ashley Church) all of Wharncliffe, WV; stepdaughter: Doris (Donnie) Reid of Belpre, Ohio; stepson: Jeffrey S. Boggs of Omar, WV; grandchildren: Jessica (Jason) Thom, Tiffany (Robert) McClellan, Alyssa Toler, Tyler Wayne and Nicholas Bollinger, Autumn Michelle, Colton James, Cameron (Tori), Gage Browning, Landon Daniels, Logan Daniels, Emilee and Allie Browning, Matthew Reid; great grandchildren: Zaine and Lorelai Kite, Baylee Ann and Raelynn, Braylen and Kashton Blevins; brother: Rick (Debbie) Browning of Wharncliffe, WV; nephew: Sean (Hope) Browning of Mayking, KY; his best friend, his fur baby: Dakota. He also leaves behind a host of friends, and other dear relatives.
Friends may gather with the family Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 12:00 till 1:00 pm in the chapel of Mounts Funeral Home where funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm with Pastor Bill Cresong officiating. Burial will follow in the Browning Family Cemetery at Wharncliffe, WV.
Barry will be carried to his resting place by his family and friends.
He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
