Ben Huff, 73 of North Spring, WV departed this life Tuesday, March 3, 2026, from CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV.
Born November 23, 1952, in Iaeger, WV, he was the son of the late Earnest and Roxie Ellen (Cline) Huff.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son: Jeffery Huff; sister: Linda (Huff) Blankenship.
Ben was a very intelligent man, who enjoyed doing anything that dealt with mechanics, he liked running equipment, working on old cars and trucks, gardening, especially eating fresh tomatoes from his garden, and hunting. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the Little Cub Memorial Baptist Church and the UMWA.
Those left to love and cherish his memory are his loving wife of 55 years: Doris Ann (King) Huff of the home; daughters: Melissa (Robert) Fuller of Hanover, WV and Jennifer (James) Grimmett of North Spring, WV; grandchildren: Jeffery Cody Steele, Kasey, Jayda, Bella, and Blake Grimmett; brother: Joseph (Cathy) Huff of Port St. Lucia, Florida. He also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.
Friends may gather with the family Friday, March 6, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. in the chapel of Mounts Funeral Home, Gilbert, WV with special service at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Walter Grimmett. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastors William Cook and Wayne Addair officiating. Burial will follow in the Cline Cemetery at North Spring, WV.
Ben will be carried to his resting place by pallbearers: Scott Cline, Mack Blankenship, Eric Huff, Kasey Grimmett, Robert Patterson, James Grimmett, and Robert Fuller. Honorary pallbearer is David Cline.
His wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved him.
