Bertha (Brumfield) Grimmett, 62 of Tamcliffe, departed this life Saturday, September 12, 2020 from Tug Valley ARH.
Born January 19, 1958 at Welch, WV she was the daughter of Agnes (Blankenship) and the late Chris Brumfield of Tamcliffe, WV.
In addition to her father, Bertha is also preceded in death by her son: Christopher Layne; sisters: Patty Blankenship and Sheila Damron.
Bertha attended the Tamcliffe Tabernacle Church and she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Those left to love and cherish her memory and to mourn her loss are her husband: Walter Grimmett, Sr.; mother: Agnes Brumfield; her sons Hunter Chase Grimmett and Walter Grimmett Jr, all of Tamcliffe and Alfred Bryan Grimmett of Greensboro, NC; sister: Christine (Robert) Morgan of Coal Mountain; brother: Christopher Todd (Kathy) Brumfield of Georgia; aunt: Linda McCoy. Bertha also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and other relative and friends.
To honor her wishes, she was cremated.
