Betty Joe (Nunley) Hinkle

Betty Joe Hinkle, 80 of Neibert, WV departed this life Tuesday, July 26, 2022 from Logan Regional Medical Center.

Born on July 5, 1942 at Rita, WV she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Florence (Browning) Nunley.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband David Jr. Hinkle; daughters and son-in-law: Teena (Wade) Maynard and Carolyn Snyder; grandsons: Justin Maynard, Ryan Cantrell, and David Allen Arthur; son-in-law: Robert Fox; sisters: Juanita (John) Cook, Ruby (Brad) Short, Helen (Eugene) Lester; brothers: Donald Nunley and Charles (Peggy) Nunley; niece: Judy Nelson.

Betty was a member of the Crown Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she had been attending for 15 years, she loved serving the Lord and watching the Inspirational TV Channel and Westerns.  She also loved spending time with her family and friends.

Those left to love and cherish her memory are her children: David Jr. Hinkle, II of Blair, Lisa Arthur (John) Sizemore of Neibert, Cheryl Lynn Hinkle of Colorado, Cathy Fox of Amherstdale, Melinda (Todd) Cantrell of Neibert; 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren.  She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Friday, July 29, 2022 from 6:00 till 8:00 pm at the Crown Pentecostal Holiness Church where funeral services will commence on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 12:00 pm with Pastor Randy Harvey officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, Logan, WV.

Betty will be carried to her resting place by her family and friends.

Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
