Billy Adkins

Billy E. Adkins, 77 of Baisden, WV went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, Novemer 19, 2018 from his residence.

Born August 3, 1941 at Pie, WV he was the son of the late William Adkins and Frankie (Ferris) Bogart.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife Gearlene “Jerri” Mounts Adkins.

Billy was a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend.  He was a member of the Full Gospel Church of God at Baisden, WV.  Billy was a wonderful neighbor and member of his community.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Billy and to mourn his passing include his two sons: James E. Adkins of Baisden, Steven Eugene (April) Adkins of Bellevue, OH; two sisters: Jan Shaver of Princeton, Jerri Sizemore of North Carolina; brother: Willard Adkins Jr. of Pie; special neighbors: Susan Coe, Burl & Pat Moore, Judy Doss, Learmon & Sue Mounts all of Baisden; a host of grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Full Gospel Church of God at Baisden from 6-9 pm.  Funeral services will commence on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the church with the Rev. Jonas Trent, Rev. Tommy Ellis and Rev. Learmon Mounts officiating.

Burial will follow at Muncy Valley Church Cemetery, Pie, WV.

Billy will be carried to his final resting place by his grandsons, granddaughters, and other family.

His tender heart and wonderful smile will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
