Billy Con Blankenship

Billy Con Blankenship, 72 of Justice, WV. Departed this life on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at his residence.

Born December 17, 1948 at Baisden, WV, Billy was the son of the late John and Retha (Cline) Blankenship.

Billy was a retired coal miner. He was of the Pentecostal Faith.  His favorite pass time was watching the horse’s race, and going coon hunting when he was able. Billy loved working on cars and enjoyed watching Walker Texas Ranger and Bonanza on TV.

Those left to love and cherish his memory and mourn his loss, are his wife, Karren (Walker) Blankenship of Justice. Two sons, Chad (Thelesa) Blankenship, of Tennessee, and Billy Ray (Kim) Blankenship of Justice. Three grandsons, Aaron and Chaz Blankenship, both of Justice, and Jeremy (Nikki) Blankenship of Florida. One granddaughter, Kelli Blankenship. Two Sisters, Cathy Christian and Addie May, both of Browning Fork. Four brothers, Tony and Gleanous Blankenship both of Gilbert Creek, Enos Blankenship of Slabtown, and Homer Blankenship of Browning Fork.

Friends may gather with the family Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 6:00 till 9:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel at Gilbert, WV. Funeral services will commence at 7:00 pm. with the Rev. Homer Blankenship Jr., officiating.

In honoring his wishes, he will be cremated.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
