Billy Gene Cook, Jr

Billy Gene Cook Jr., 55, of Justice, WV departed this life Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from his residence.

Born October 7, 1969, at Man, WV, he was the son of the late Bill and Telisha (Shupe) Cook.

Billy enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing cards, but his greatest enjoyment came from spending quality time with his family and friends.  He had served in the U.S Air Force and he was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his loving wife: Faye (Hatfield) Cook; sons: Brandon (Keri) Cook, and Braylon Cook; daughter: Briana (Donovan) Browning; grandchildren: Adalee Rae Cook and Wyatt Kade Smith; sisters: Natisha (Tippy) Browning, Kellie Cook (Fiancé Issac Rider) and Brittani (Randall) Stimson; special niece: Ember “Poot” Stinson.  He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other dear relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at 10:00am at Justice Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Justice, WV with Rev. Ralphy Manuel officiating.

Billy will be carried to his resting place by his family and friends.

His wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved him.
