Bobby Dale Davis

Bobby Dale Davis, 55 years old of Verner, WV passed away at his home on Monday, April 29, 2024. To know Bobby was to love him. He had the biggest heart and he loved everyone who came across his path and he never met a stranger. Bobby enjoyed listening to music and going live on Facebook to talk with all his friends and family. For many years Bobby worked with the traveling carnivals traveling all over the United States. Bobby loved sending his friends and family inspirational messages to uplift them.

Bobby is proceeded in death by his parents, Ervin Louis Depriest and Laura “sis” Davis. His Grandparents, Garfield and Francis Davis, siblings Elizabeth Fay New, James “Buddy” Depriest, William “Bert” Davis. uncles: Bud, James “Bunchie”, Okie Davis; aunts: Dorothy Carter; niece: April Dawn Davis; his best friend: Michael Perry and his special companion Gladys Highlander.

Those left to treasure his memory are his sister: Chloe Frances (Mack) Tiller of Pipestem, WV; brother: Kim Avery Higgins of Pipestem, WV; great nephew: Brandon Lee Lycan of Pipestem WV; cousins: Ritz Carter, Fabian Carter, Stoney Carter (Shanna) all of Gilbert, WV, Cindy (Andy) Lucas of Oak Hill, WV, Lisa (Todd) Young, of Nashville, TN, Erica Carter (Murdock) of Wharncliff, WV, Shranda (Robert) Summers of Pigeon Creek, WV, Tyler Carter of Justice, WV, April (Chris) Toops of Delbarton, WV, and a host of other cousins. He also leaves behind some very special friends: Leslie and Treena Lester of Verner, WV, Tony Messer of Gilbert, WV, Jerry and Jackie Browing of Gilbert, WV, Haley Lester of Gilbert WV, and her sweet boy Hadley who him and Bobby had a special bond and Shelley Washington, of Gilbert, WV who always looked out for him and lastly his dog Booger who was his absolute best friend.

Bobby will be remembered for his kind and giving heart even leaving this world he chose to give others life by being an organ Donor. He was loved and will be terribly missed.

A memorial service will be planned for Bobby at a later date.
