Brenda Doss Obituary

Brenda Doss, 60, of Wharncliffe, departed this life Thursday, April 30, 2020 from CAMC Memorial Hospital.

Born on December 10, 1959 at Williamson, she was the daughter of the late Isom and Lola (Prater) Blankenship, Jr.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband: Dennis “Bo” Doss; sister: Elizabeth Ann Blankenship; brothers: Dallas Ray (Brutt) Blankenship and Earl Blankenship, Jr; grandparents: Pleas (Polly) Prater and Howard (Della) Blankenship; best friend: Jackie Browning.

Brenda enjoyed helping others and she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was of the Church of Christ Faith.

Those left to love and cherish her memory and to mourn her loss are her daughter: Elisha (Andre) Roach; grandchildren: Kolton and Alyna Doss; sisters: Gaynell Rowe and Tonya Prater; mother-in-law: Lennie Doss; brother-in-law: Karl Doss; good friends: Erica and Jeff Browning.

To honor her wishes, her remains were cremated.
