Brenda Sue (Hendricks) Lester

Brenda Sue Lester, 76, of Mallory, WV departed this life Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from her residence.

She was born on June 3, 1945 in Logan, WV, the daughter of the late Orville and Freda Faye (Cyrus) Hendricks.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband: Arnold Gene Lester; her sisters: Patricia Rabie and Evelyn Browning; brothers: James (Ralph) Hendricks, Roger (Nathan) Hendricks, and Richard (Ritchie) Hendricks.

Brenda was a member of the Greenbranch Freewill Baptist Church at Man.  She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Those left to love and cherish her memory are her daughters: Carolyn Ball of Bruno, Sherry (Ricky) Hatfield of Varney, and Lisa (Phillip) Curry of Mallory; he sons: Adam Lester and Daniel Lester, both of Mallory, Benny (Cindy) Lester of Oceana, Arnold Gene and Jennifer Lester of Buffalo Creek; sister: Candice (Lynn) and Jesse (Joe) Gravley of Spice Creek; brothers: Robert Hendricks of Chattaroy, William “Randy” Randolph (Pam) Hendricks of Verner, Darrell Ray Hendricks of Earling, Mickey Hendricks of Tamcliffe; 23 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren.  She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Sunday, August 15, 2021 at the Greenbranch Freewill Baptist Church from 12:00 till 1:00 pm, funeral services will commence there at the church at 1:00 pm with Rev. Randy Toler and Rev. Mike Browning officiating.  Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens at Chapmanville, WV.

Brenda will be carried to her resting place by her family and friends.

Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
