Charles L. England

Charles L. England, 90 of Harmony, NC, formerly of Hanover, WV departed this life Sunday, November 30, 2025, from Davie Nursing and Rehab, Mocksville, NC.

Born August 23, 1935, in Hanover, WV, he was the son of the late William and Eunice (Lester) England. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife: Greta (Roberts) England, his daughter Cheryl England, his son Jeff England, his grandson Ethan England, his brothers Jim England, William Howard (Woody) England, sister Betty Jean England and great grandson Jonah Hatfield.

Charles enjoyed traveling, hunting and fishing and he had fished from Canada to Florida. 

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his son Michael (Tammy) England, grandson Christopher (Melissa) England, granddaughters Jessica (Kenny) Hatfield, Christin England and Kasie (Tyler) Couch, great grandchildren: Taylor England, Amanda (Will) Smith, Chasen England, Darcie Hatfield, Anson Hatfield, Elliott Hatfield, Kyler Johnson, Kasen England, Ivy Couch and Hudson Couch.  Step grandchildren: Jamie (Rikki) Cook and Seth (Kristen) Cook, step great grandchildren: Payton Cook, Hayden Cook and Emerson Cook.  Nephews: Dr. Greg (Wendy) England, Scott England, niece Traci (Greg) Mascaro, and very special friends Jimmy and Nancy Tiller, Ben Huff and Reverend Keith Ledford. 

Family and friends may arrive on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 12pm at Mounts Funeral Home in Gilbert, WV.  Services will begin at 1pm, with Charles' cousins: Rev. Ronnie Lester and Rev. Jackie Lester officiating.  Burial will follow at North Spring Community Cemetery.

Charles will be carried to his final resting place by family and friends.
