Charles Glen "Pete" Cline

Charles G. “Pete” Cline, 77 of Gilbert, WV departed this life Thursday, May 11, 2023 from Logan Regional Medical Center.

Born March 26, 1946 at War Eagle, WV he was the son of the late Earl and Ethel (Cline) Cline.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother: Jerry Rolland Cline.

Charles was a retired Coal Miner and a member of the U.M.W.A.  He enjoyed camping with his family and friends, NASCAR races, and going to car shows.  He attended the Sharon Heights Assembly Church.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his loving wife of 53 years: Audrey (Christian) Cline of Gilbert, WV; sons: Michael Cline of Gray, TN, and Jeffrey (Misty) Cline of Delbarton, WV; grandchildren: Matthew (Ashley) Tolley of Justice, WV, Mackenna Cline of Gilbert, WV, Dalton Cline of Gray, TN, Makiaha Cline of Gilbert, WV; bonus grandchildren: Haley New of Gilbert, WV, Danielle Cline of Isaban, WV, Skyler Mounts of Hanover, WV; sisters: Jan Walton of Hurricane, WV, Dottie (Cline) Carter of Justice, WV; his special furry friend: Abby Gail.  He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 12:00 till 1:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm with Rev. Arville Cline officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill, WV.

Charles will be carried to his resting place by his family and friends.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
