Clifford "Slick" Browning, Jr.

Clifford “Slick” Browning, Jr., 45 of Wharncliffe, WV departed this life Thursday, May 2, 2024, from Tug Valley ARH, So. Williamson, KY.

Born August 8, 1978, he was the son of Kathy Lynn (Bailey) and Clifford Browning, Sr.

Clifford is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Ruby and John Henry Bailey; fraternal grandparents: Mason and Janie Browning; cousin: Stevie Joe Browning.

Clifford was the embodiment of joy, he always found the positive in a bad day or situation, he was the type of person who would “give the shirt off his back” to help anyone, he was a good listener, also, a hard worker for his family.  He was his mother’s pride and joy, and would do anything for her, he enjoyed spending time at the beach with his family and friends, he was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Those left to love and cherish his memory and to mourn his loss are his daughters: Tori Cline (Brandon Wright), Oakley Grace Browning; son: Jordon Xavier Browning; grandson: Casen Wright; parents: Kathy and Clifford Browning, Sr; companion: Jamie Lynn Caldwell; aunts: Carol Sue Browning, Patricia Ann Farmer, Kaye Blankenship, Wanda Gail Browning.  He also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives, friends, co-workers.

Friends may gather with the family Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 6:00 till 9:00 pm in the chapel of Mounts Funeral Home, where funeral services will commence on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Danny Ward officiating.  Burial will follow in the Browning Family Cemetery at Wharncliffe, WV.

Clifford will be carried to his resting place by his family and friends.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
