Clyde M. Stanley, 80 of North Spring, departed this life Monday December 5th, 2022 at Logan Regional Medical Center.
Clyde was born October 12th, 1942 to the late Wilburn and Flossie (Davis) Stanley. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an infant sister, his late wife Versie (Christian) Stanley and stepdaughter Jennifer Lester.
Clyde enjoyed watching westerns, tending to his garden, as well as canning yearly. Clyde had a special companion after the death of his wife, his dog Kiwi, that will meet him on the rainbow bridge.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son Darren (Meletta) Stanley of North Spring, WV; granddaughter Natalie (Kyle) Stanley- Burford and an unborn great grandson Knox Quarrier Burford all of Hurricane, WV; two sisters Sheila Lester and Lisa Blankenship both of Melbourne, FL; step children: Barbara (Randolph) Salyers of Delbarton, WV, Janet Hatfield of North Spring, WV, Gail (Jerry) Hall of Brenton, WV, Harold “Buddy” Testerman of North Spring, WV; two special step great grandchildren Shaye Beheler of Bluefield, VA and Alora Lester of North Spring, WV. He also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.
Family will gather Sunday, December 11, 2022 from 11:00am till 12:00pm
and friends are invited to join at 12:00pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will commence at 1:00pm with Pastor Jackie Lester officiating. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery at North Spring, WV.
Clyde will be carried to his resting place by pallbearers: Linus Davis, Jerry Evans, Joey Holzapfel, Anthony Cline, Kyle Burford, Knoxal “Rocky” Cline, Shaye Beheler.
