Curtis William Blevins

Curtis William Blevins, 83 of Bens Creek, WV., Went to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.

Born March 29, 1938, at Thacker, WV, he was the son of the late Dimple Blevins.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife: Patricia (Hatfield) Blevins; son-in-law: Alger “Skip” Baker.

He was a member of the Bens Creek Free Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Curtis really enjoyed riding his 4-wheeler. He loved going to church and spending time with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Deborah Baker, of Gilbert, WV., two sons: Gregory Blevins, of the home, and Kevin Blevins of Liberty, NC., four granddaughters: Necole (Baker) Lester, of Gilbert, WV. Patricia and Sandra Blevins both of Liberty, NC. Sarah (Nathan) Butcher of Gilbert, WV. One grandson; Curtis Blevins of Liberty, NC., Three great grandsons: Cameron J. Lester, Kayden B. Lester, Jayce T. Lester, Four great granddaughters: Aubrey Blevins, Gabriell, and Sarah Combs, and Cambreigh Lake Butcher.  He also leaves behind a host of other loving friends and family.

Friends may gather with the family on Thursday, December 23, 2021, form 12:00 till 2:00 pm. at the Bens Creek Pentecostal Holiness Church, where funeral services will commence at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Denny May and the Rev. Arbel Cline officiating. Burial will follow at the Toler Cemetery at Ben Creek, WV. He will be carried to his resting place by his family and friends.

He may be gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
