Dallas Jerome Mounts II

Dallas Jerome Mounts II, 38 of Wharncliffe, departed this life on Monday, February 11, 2019 from his residence.

Born November 5, 1980 at Logan he was the son of Dallas Mounts and Joyce Mounts.

Jerome was preceded in death by his grandparents: Louise and Donald Dotson; grandfather: Jack Mounts Sr.; two aunts: Debbie Mounts and Sheila Sarter.

Jerome was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend.  He loved riding dirt bikes, gazing at the stars, using ham radio frequency, building things, and he loved helping his neighbors anyway that he could.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Jerome and to mourn his passing include his loving wife: Ellen Mounts of Wharncliffe; his children whom he loved with all his heart: Sadie Mounts and Ian Mounts both of Wharncliffe; his mother: Joyce Mounts of Wharncliffe; his father: Dallas (Karima) Mounts of Georgia; grandmother: Betty Mounts of Georgia; two sisters: Angela (George) Morgan of Beckley, Stephanie (James) Taylor of Wharncliffe; two nephews that were his best friends: Donovan (Johnna) Mounts of Wharncliffe and Travis (Hannah) Mounts of Bruno; nephews: Austin Taylor, Mason Taylor and Jordan Ferguson; two nieces: Sophie Taylor and Haley Coleman; great nieces: Jaylyn and Kylee Mounts; great nephew: Ryder Mounts; and an unborn great niece or nephew due September 2019; aunt: Easter Hatfield; cousins: Jerry Lee (Annette) Hatfield, Rita (Lee) Canterbury; special friends: Bill & Christian Patrick of Wharncliffe, Dakota Wiley of Wharncliffe, Brad & Emma Browning of Gilbert and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family on Friday, February 15, 2019 at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel from 12:00 – 2:00 pm.  Funeral services will commence at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Jim Nagy and Bro. Timer May officiating.  Following the service he will be cremated.

His beautiful smile and tender heart will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
