Danny Lee Blankenship

Danny Lee Blankenship, 52 of Lancaster, Ohio, and formerly of Gilbert, departed this life Saturday June 3, 2023 from Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, OH.

Born April 28, 1971 in Logan County, WV he was the son of the late Edward and Thelma (Carter) Blankenship.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sister: Debbie (Blankenship) Hatfield.

Danny enjoying riding ATV’s and spending time with family and friends.  He was of the Church of God Faith.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his Brothers: Donald Blankenship of Lancaster Ohio, Roger Blankenship of Man, and Jimmy (Cassie) Justus of Wharncliffe; five Sisters: Deloyce (Roger) Hatfield of Wharncliffe, Janice Morgan of Prichard WV, Crystal (Popeye) Hatfield of Horsepen, Donna (Tim) Walls of Coal Mountain, and Kimberly (Jason) Link of Chattaroy; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends. 

Friends may gather with the family Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 12 PM – 2 PM at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will commence at 2 PM with Reverends Winford and Jonathan Bradford officiating.  Burial will follow at Carter Cemetery, Browning Fork section of Gilbert, WV. 

Danny will be carried to his resting place by his family and friends.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
