Danny Gordon Hill

Danny Gordon Hill, 65, formerly of Neibert, of Lyburn departed this life leaving from his home from a sudden illness on July 8, 2022.

Danny was born on May 25, 1957 at Logan the son of the late James Walter Hill Jr. & Virginia Alma (Walls) Hill.

Also proceeding him in death along with his parents are his paternal grandparents: maternal grandparents; two sisters: Rev. Judith Eplin, Mary Hill Bartram; special brothers-in-law: Paul Eplin and Ralph Crum; sister-in-law: Debbie Hill; nephew: Jeff Peacock; and a great nephew: James Walter Hill V.

Danny was a disabled coal miner and a wonderful devoted loving father to his precious children, he loved the outdoors hunting and fishing, spending time with his family and friends and attending Church when he was able. He was of the Church of God faith and attended Pathway Church of God at Christian.

Those left to mourn his passing are the light of his life his two precious children son: James Daniel (JD) Hill; daughter: Kaitlyn Alexis Hill both of the home; the mother of his two precious children: Peggy Hill of Neibert; three brothers: Jimmy(Karen) Hill of Kistler, Johnny (Eloise) Hill of Braeholm, Terry Hill of Neibert; four sisters: Joan Hill of Chicago, Illinois, Deanna Crum of 3 Mile Curve, Debbie (Rev. Bazzil Goodman) of McConnell, Rev Margie (Rev.Leroy) Maynard Jr of Neibert; nephews: Corey Maynard, J.W. Hill, Ricky Peacock, Kevin and Bo Crum, Johnny Keith Hill; nieces: Cheryl Bailey, Julie Trejo, Jessica White, Suzanne Tackett, Christina (Chris) Bryant, Rebecca (Becky) Dillon, Amy Frye, Gina Brinegar, Jennifer Peacock, Laura Frye, Amber Maynard, Nicole VanAeist, Angela Hill, Taylor and Emily Crum; special brother-in-law: Ralph Bartram of Oceana; and a special nephew: James Short Jr; five special friends: Kenny Ray Williams of 3 Mile Curve, Buddy Bartley of NC, Glen Pridemore of TN, Timmy Mullins of Neibert and Chester Perry Sr. of Madison Creek.  He also leaves behind a host of great nephews, nieces, cousins, and other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel at Gilbert, WV on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 6-9 pm, with special services beginning at 7:00 pm with Rev. Les Williamson and special guest speaker James Short Jr. Funeral services will commence there at the chapel on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Leroy Maynard Jr. And the Rev. Bazzil Goodman officiating.

To honor his wishes, he will be cremated following services.

Honorary pallbearers are: Kenny Ray Williams, Corey Maynard, Johnny Keith Hill, Wes White, Michael Bryant, Nicholas Bryant, David Eplin, Ricky Peacock, Mike Bailey, and James Short Jr.
