Darlene Jean (Lester) Bryant

Darlene Jean Bryant, 64 of North Spring, departed this life Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from ARH, Beckley, WV.

Born July 2, 1956 at Iaeger, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Liddy Ruth (Lester) Lester.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her sister: Orfy Jean May; brother: Russell Lester; niece: Danyel Lester; nephew: Randy Dale Wykle; brother-in-law: Randy Wykle.

Darlene enjoyed spending time and talking with her family and friends.  She especially loved being with her grandchildren.  Darlene was of the Baptist Faith.

Those left to love and cherish her memory and to mourn her loss are her husband: Curtis Bryant of Iaeger; daughter: Misty Logan; grandchildren: Carrie Huff and Robert Huff, all of North Spring; sisters: Charlotte Jean Wykle and Dorann Lester both of North Spring, Vicie Kolffe of Ragland, Lisa (David) Hatfield of Copperston, Kathy Adams of Welch, Cloteen Lester of Charleston; brothers: Ezra Lester of Varney, Abby Lester of Matewan, Rosco (Susie) Lester of Hanover, Dennie Ray Lester of Welch.  Darlene also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Friday, July 31, 2020 from 6 to 9 pm at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will commence there in the chapel on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 4:00 pm with Rev. Russell Ray Prince officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hatfield Cemetery at Hampden, WV.

Darlene will be carried to her resting place by pallbearers: Bobbie, Jordon, and Junior Kolffe, Roscoe Lester, Jr., Ryan, Tommy and Russell Lester, Russell Ray Prince.

She may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
