David Ryan Charles, 29 of Delbarton, WV went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from his residence. Born June 2, 1995, in Huntington, WV, he was the loving son of Lisa (Mounts) Browning and Ronald Davis Charles, Jr.
David is also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Everett and Idell Stanley; uncle: Charles Mounts, Jr.
David was the embodiment of joy; he was the type of person to “give you the shirt off his back” to help anyone he could. His time on earth was spent doing all the things he cherished and loved, which included hunting, fishing, ATV riding, and most importantly spending loving time with his mom, sister, nieces, nephews, and the rest of his family. He thought the world of his sister, nieces, and nephews. He was his mom’s pride and joy; they loved spending every minute together.
Those left to love and cherish his memory and to mourn his loss are his parents: Lisa (Louie) Browning; sister/best friend: Bethany (James) Prince; brothers: William (Abigail) Browning, and Andrew Browning; nieces: Kelsey and Kylie Prince, and Sydney Browning; nephews: Keegan and Kolton Prince: grandparents: Charles and Nina Mounts; stepmom: Mary Mounts. He also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.
Friends may gather with the family Friday, December 20, 2024, from 12:00 till 2:00 pm at the Varney Fundamental Christian Church where funeral services will commence at 2:00 pm with Rev. Denny May and Pastor Jay West officiating. Burial will follow in the Browning Cemetery, Pigeon Creek.
David will be carried to his resting place by his family and friends.
He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
David’s favorite Bible verse:
Exodus 15:2
The Lord is my strength and my defense.
He has become my salvation
