Davy Lee Christian

Davy Lee Christian, 55 of Browning Fork, WV passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Logan Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving wife, children and grandchildren following a battle with cancer.  Born February 14, 1969, in London, Ohio, he was the son of the late Donald Lee Christian.

In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Oley and Ella Christian; maternal grandparents: Joe and Merlie Harrison; uncle: Robert “Bob” Christian; mother-in-law: Marie Lester; father-in-law: Moss Hatfield.

Davy was married to the love of his life Kimberly Ann Christian for 33 years.  He loved spending time with his family and going on vacations with his wife.  Davy enjoyed watching Nascar and was an avid Steelers fan.  He also loved working in his tool shed and playing with his grandkids, whom he loved with all his heart.  He was of the Baptist Faith and a 1988 graduate of Gilbert High School.

Those left to love and cherish his memory include his wife: Kimberly Ann Christian of the home; his children: Tiffani (Bobby) Blankenship of Hanover, WV, Shane (Samantha) Christian of Verner, WV, Shawn (Breanna) Christian of Baisden, WV, Braydon Christian and girlfriend Bobbi Carter of Browning Fork, WV; grandchildren: Braylen Christian, Jayleeann Blankenship, Kimbre, Parker, Matthew, Noah Christian, and 2 angel babies; brothers and sisters-in-law: Douglas (Drema) Hatfield, Katrina (Kenneth) Cline, Donna (Elery) Farley, Junior (Angela) Hatfield, Timmy (Missy) Hatfield, Keith (Lisa) Hatfield, Marshall (Debbie) Hatfield, and Benny Joe Hatfield (Daisy Cline).  He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 6:00 till 9:00 pm in the chapel of Mounts Funeral Home where funeral services will commence on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 2:00 pm with Rev. Homer Blankenship, Jr., Rev. Garfield Hatfield, and Rev. Diamond Carter officiating.  Burial will follow in the Christian Cemetery at Browning Fork, Gilbert, WV.

Davy will be carried to his resting place by pallbearers: Shane, Shawn, and Braydon Christian, Bobby Blankenship, Benny Joe and Keith Hatfield.  Honorary pallbearers will be Douglas, Marshall, Timmy and Moss Hatfield, Jr.

His wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved him.
