Delennia Brook Ellis, 70 of Justice, departed this life Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born on September 28, 1950 at Justice, WV she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Lake (Browning) Justice.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years: Ray Ellis, Sr.; brothers: Nathan Justice Jr., and Darrell Justice.
Delennia had worked in restaurants around the area for years, she enjoyed cooking big dinners, spending time with her family and friends and fishing. She loved riding around and “sightseeing” with her family, especially going to Twin Falls. Delennia was of the Baptist Faith and a 1969 graduate of Gilbert High School.
Those left to love and cherish her memory and to mourn her loss are her sons: Edward Ray (Tina) Ellis, Jr., Ronald Lee (Tiffany) Ellis, Ricky Ellis, all of Justice; grandchildren: Kalenia (Bryan) Sizemore, Matt (Madison) Ellis, Payton, Kylie, and Caleb Ellis; great-grandchildren: Archer Sizemore, Korraline Ellis, Jaelie and Ryker Ellis; brother: Charles C. (Marilyn) Justice of Justice; sisters: Rayvene (Willie) Cline of Brenton, Carol Blankenship of North Carolina, Maxine (David) Vest of Justice; special sister-in-law: Margaret Davis of North Springs. The family gives special thanks to Maxine and Margaret for all that they done. She also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.
Friends may gather with the family Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 6:00 till 9:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will commence on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Dennis Lester and Rev. Cecil Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Nathan Justice Cemetery at Justice, WV.
Delennia will be carried to her resting place by pallbearers: Matt Ellis, Payton Ellis, Caleb Ellis, Bryan Sizemore, Brad Justice, Michael Paul Lester, Matt Tolley, Barrett Justice, Brent Justice. Honorary pallbearers are David Vest, Tim Toler, Donald Kenneda, Jr., Kevin Lester.
Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
