Donald Gene Walls

Donald Gene Walls, 65, of Bruno, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Monday, October 24, 2022.

Born on November 13, 1956 at Harts, WV, he was the son of the late Elmer and Elizabeth (Vance) Walls.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his daughter: Keelena Elizabeth Carol Walls; his sisters: Sharlene Walls and Ruby Dean.

Donald enjoyed fishing, reading, and spending time with his grandchildren. He especially loved attending his granddaughter, Keeley’s games, to watch her cheer. 

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his children: Angela Walls (Eric Pack) of Wayne, Donald “Bo” Walls (Jamie Maynard) of Lundale, Tiffany (Chris) Browning of Logan, Dedra Walls (Brandon White) of Bruno, Jarrod Walls (Jessica Toler) of Gilbert, Shawn (Heather) Walls of Bruno, Brandon (Jessica) Walls of Cyclone; his brother: Roger (Linda) Walls of Bruno; a very special son in law that was like another son to him: James Short, Jr; thirty six grandchildren; one great granddaughter.  He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

Friends may gather with the family on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 5:00 till 6:00 pm at the Sandlick Freewill Baptist Church at Bruno, WV.  A Celebration of Life service will begin at 6:00 pm there at the church with Rev. Donald Ellis officiating. 

Pallbearers are: Johnathan Moorhead, Ryan Moorhead, Thomas Mulcahy, James Short, Jr., Brandon White, Donald “Bo” Walls.  Honorary pallbearers are: Gary Arthur, Mark McComas, James P.K. Walker, Chris Browning, Kirkland Bailey, Dakota Bailey.

Donald will be cremated following the services. 

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
