Donna Mae (Davis) Puett

Donna Mae Puett, 71 of Coal Mountain, WV departed this life Saturday, January 24, 2026, from her residence.

Born August 27, 1954, at Welch, WV she was the daughter of the late Eugene “Jeep” and Corrine (Kennedy) Davis.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother: Butch Davis; mother and father-in-law: Ed and Gladys Puett.

Donna was a loving and caring person, who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She was a member of the Coal Mountain Freewill Baptist Church, and a 1972 graduate of Baileysville High School.

Those left to love and cherish her memory are her husband of 52 years: Butch Puett; sons: Chuck (Ashley) Puett, all of Coal Mountain, WV and Justin (Jodie) Puett of Charleston, WV; granddaughter: Carly (Jared) Browning of Proctorville, Ohio; sisters: Jeanie (Mike) Rhodes of Oceana, WV, Peggy Davis of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Anita (Gene) Mullins of Beckley, WV; brother-in-law: Kirby (Tina) Puett of Clear Fork, WV.  She also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Friday, January 30, 2026, from 12:00 till 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Mounts Funeral Home where funeral services will commence at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Louis Collins officiating.  Burial will follow in the Coal Mountain Community Cemetery, at Coal Mountain, WV.

Donna will be taken to her resting place by pallbearers: Wade Carter, Michael, Justin, and Cody Hatfield.

Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
