Elza Lamb, 72 of Bruno, left for his heavenly home on Wednesday, October 26, 2022.
He was born on February 25, 1950 at Bruno, WV to the late Fred and Myrtle (Walls) Lamb.
In addition to his parents Elza was preceded in death by the love of his life Mary Ann (Plumley) Lamb on September 15, 2022, brother, Elva "Stubby" Lamb, parents-in-law Jimmy and Jean Plumley and a good friend who loved to attend church with Elza when he was in WV., Herman Griffith.
Elza enjoyed fishing, hunting, 4 wheeling and just being outdoors. He was a great woodworker and handy man when it came to making repairs.
Elza was a member of The Sandlick Freewill Baptist Church, and he loved his church family.
Those left to remember him are his brothers Duke (Patty) Lamb of Grove City, Ohio, Doug (Terry) Lamb of Concord, WV, Kenny (Cyndi) Smith of Bruno, WV and his sister, Gaye of Sevierville, TN. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may gather with the family on Saturday. October 29, 2022 at the Sandlick Freewill Baptist Church from 6:00 till 9:00 pm where services will be held at 7:00 pm. by Rev. James Ellis.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Sunday, October 30, 2022 with Pastor Bill Cantrell and Rev. Tilly Walls officiating. Burial will follow at the Browning/Grimmett Cemetery at Bruno.
Elza will be carried to his resting place by his family and friends.
He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
