Enoch "Michael" Mounts, II

Psalm 91: 1

       He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Enoch “Michael” Mounts II, 53 of Beech Creek, WV, departed this life Saturday, October 16, 2021 from Tug Valley ARH.

Born on April 19, 1968 at Logan, he was the son of Jackie (Daniels) and Enoch Michael Mounts, Sr.

Michael was preceded in death by his wife: Andrea (Steele) Mounts; godfather: Emmitt Jeffrey, Jr; maternal grandparents: Jack Daniels and Maggie (Paul) Rhodes; paternal grandparents: Arden Mounts and Audrey Joseph.

Michael was a 1986 graduate of Gilbert High School.  He received a scholarship for football to WV Tech, where he played as a linebacker, and he was the state defensive football player. Michael was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan.  He loved dirt track racing with his son, he enjoyed playing the guitar, he was a truck driver/coal miner, and he loved his dog, Kylie, he was also the owner/operator of Mikes Pro Tint, window tinting company.  He was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Those left to love and cherish his memory and to mourn his loss are his son: Clay Michael (Amber) Mounts of Wharncliffe; parents: Enoch Michael Sr. and Jackie (Daniels) Mounts of Gilbert; brothers: Mark (Peggy) Mounts of Beckley, and Kenny (April) Epling of Mechanicsville, VA.  He also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Friday, October 22, 2021 from 12:00 till 1:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral service will commence at 1:00 pm with Rev. Lowell Sparks and Rev. R. A. King officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hollywood Cemetery at Gilbert, WV.

Michael will be carried to his resting place by his family and friends.

His wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved him.
