Ermon “Buck” Browning, 84 of Hanover, departed this life Monday, June 20, 2022 from Logan Regional Medical Center.
Born on February 24, 1938 at Leatherwood, he was the son of the late Lee and Rindia (Mitchell) Browning.
In addition to his parents, Buck is also preceded in death by his wife of 58 years Anna Shirley Browning; sisters: Margie McIntyre, Emogene and Vonnie Browning, Leona Tarm, and Naomi Wright; brothers: Jack and Hurley Browning; daughter-in-law: Robin Browning.
Buck enjoyed gardening, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the U.M.W.A. and he was of the Baptist Faith.
Those left to love and cherish his memory and to mourn his loss are his daughter: Rhonda Browning (Harry Trent) of Hanover; his 3 sons: Neal (Ladawn) Browning of Coal Mountain, James Browning and Kevin (Heather) Browning, all of Hanover; grandchildren: Justin (LeAnn) Morgan of Hanover, Brittany (Chad) Irick of Morgantown, Kaden Browning, MaKayla Browning, and Blake Goins all of Hanover, Jordan Lawhun of Coal Mountain, Misty Hatfield and Ginger Cline both of Simon, Tabatha Lester of Roderfield, Marcus (Karen) Browning of Landville and Victor Browning of Albuquerque, New Mexico; great-grandchildren: Hannah and Hunter Lester both of Roderfield, Jonston and Jaxton Blankenship both of Simon, Lucian and Kieran Browning of Albuquerque, New Mexico; great-great grandchildren: Kashton Lester of Iaeger, and Coalson Hogston of Hanover; a special friend: Arden Hatfield of Coal Mountain. Buck also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends.
Friends may gather with the family on Saturday, June 25, 2022, from 6-9 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, Gilbert, WV. Funeral services will commence at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at 1:00 pm with Rev. Jackie Jesse officiating. Burial will follow in the Leatherwood Community Cemetery at Justice
Buck will be carried to his resting place by his family and friends.
His wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved him.
