Emmett “Eugene” Goodman, 67 of Baisden, WV departed this life Monday, May 19, 2025, from his residence. Born September 23, 1958, in Logan, WV he was the son of the late Henry and Lola (Goodman) Goodman.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter and son-in-law: Sandy (Stephen) Stuffer; sister: Beatrice Goodman; brother: Morris Goodman; father and mother-in-law: Rachael Armenta and Sherman Lester; sisters and brothers-in-law: Timmy Lester, Marcella Lester, Larry and Beatie Lester.
Eugene was a truck driver, but he enjoyed riding his 4-wheeler and spending time with his family and friends. He was of the Pentecostal Faith and a high school graduate of Man High School.
Those left to love and cherish his memory are his loving wife of 43 years: Tina Marie (Lester) Goodman; his son: Jamie Lester and his fiancé Hannah Cline; his “Fur Baby” Sophie Girl; grandchildren: Trevor Eugene Lester, Shawna (Camera), Summer (Storm) Woods, Michael Sturm; sisters: Sandy (Steve) Wallas, Rita (Buddy) Conley, Marie (Ozzie) Burgess, Brenda (Bruce) Brumfield; brothers: Frank and Josh Goodman; sisters and brothers-in-law: Debbie (Kibby) Lewis, Eleanor (Junior) Salmons, Terry (Debbie) Lester, Leon Lester; special friends: Rex Cine, Leroy Runyon, Tommy and Shonda Pucket, and Raymond Justice. He also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and acquaintances.
Friends may gather with the family Friday, May 23, 2025, from 12:00pm till 2:00pm at the Full Gospel Church of God at Baisden, WV where funeral services will commence at 2:00pm with Pastor Jonas “Joe Peck” Trent and Rev. Ralphy Manuel officiating. Burial will follow in the Lester/Goodman Cemetery at Baisden, WV.
Eugene will be carried to his resting place by Jamie and Trevor Lester, Johnathan Layne, Hannah Cline, Clark Blackburn, Jordan Cline, Frank Goodman, Tommy Puckett and other dear friends.
He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
