Eugene Lester

Eugene Lester, 61 of Isaban, WV., departed this life on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from his residence.

Born on March 4, 1960 at Iaeger, he was the son of the late Valley and Winnie (Dotson) Lester.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by 2 sisters: Freda Gaye Roberts and Darlene Lester; brother: Miles Roberts, Jr.

Eugene loved riding his four-wheeler, he especially loved spending time with his fur baby “Hammy” and his family.  He was a person who loved “joking around” and was a happy person, who was very outgoing.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his sons: Jason Lester of Isaban and Brandon (Tina Marie) Lester of Chesapeake, VA; 2 sisters: Freddie Jo (Randall) Combs and Donna (Junior) Perry of Isaban; brother: Brian (Vicky) Lester of Panther; 5 grandsons: Skylar, Jason Bryant and Jaylan Lester of Delbarton, Ayden Lester and Nike Pappas of Chesapeake, VA; 2 granddaughters: Shayla Lester of Ben Creek, Cassidy Lester of Chesapeake, VA; special nieces: Kim Cline, Danielle Cline, and Tara Thomason; special nephews: Ethan Thomason, Bradley Lester, Timmy St. Clair, and Neil St. Clair.  He also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 12:00 till 1:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel where funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm with Rev. Gary Justice officiating.  Burial will follow in the Fourpole Cemetery at Mohawk, WV.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
