Fredrick Lester

Fredrick Lester, 68 of Justice, departed this life Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from Logan Regional Medical Center.

Born January 25, 1952 at Iaeger, WV, he was the son of the late Armour Lester and Ruth (Godfrey) Lester McBrayer.

In addition to his parents, Fred was also preceded in death by two brothers: Gerald and Eule Lester; brothers-in-law: James Lively and Chuck Boldin; stepfather: Ed McBrayer; sister-in-law: Addie West Lester.

Freddy was of the Christian Faith and a graduate of Gilbert High School Class of 1972.  He was a retiree as a sales representative in the Chicago, Illinois area.

Those left to love and cherish his memory and to mourn his loss are his son: Gregory Lester of Hickory Hills, Illinois; sisters: Jean Allen of Justice, Linda Boldin of Glasgow, KY, Jewell Lively of Ikes Fork; brothers: Archie Lester of Jacksonville, NC, Michael (Reda) Lester of Harmony, NC, Roger (Dorothy) Lester of Maryville, TN, Jackie (Tonya) McBrayer of Williamson, WV; sister-in-law: Myrtle Lester of Baisden; a host of nieces and nephews; great friends: Hallie Harless and Brock Hatfield; special caregiver: Lisa Ellis; special prayer warrior: Janet Cline; the joy of his life, his two furry friends: Dolly and Buddy.  He also leaves behind numerous relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Monday, February 10, 2020 from 6 to 9:00 pm at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, with special services at 7:00 pm with Rev. Jerry Rose officiating.  Graveside services will be held in the Mausoleum at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery at Bluewell, WV, Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 12:00 pm.

Freddy will be carried to his final resting place by family and friends.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
