Gary Copley

Gary Copley, 69 of Wharncliffe, WV, departed this life on Monday, April 9, 2018 from Logan Regional Medical Center, Logan, WV.

Born August 22, 1948 at Ethel, WV, he was the son of Louella Copley and the late Donald Copley.

Gary was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.  He loved to hunt and spend time with his grandchildren.  Gary was of the Baptist Faith.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Gary and to mourn his passing include his mother: Louella (Roberts) Copley of Ethel; 2 sons: Donald Joseph Copley of Wharncliffe, Brandon Gary Copley of Charleston; 2 daughters: Crystal (Kirk) Jordan of Wharncliffe, Shannon Copley of Charleston; wife: Jean Trent Copley of Wharncliffe; 5 brothers; 3 sisters; a host of nieces and nephews and other dear family and friends

Friends may gather with the family on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at the Gilbert Church of God, Gilbert, WV.  Funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Cliff Collins officiating.  

Burial will follow in the Ferguson Family Cemetery at Pigeon Creek, WV.

Gary will be carried to his final resting place by family and friends.

He is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
