Geneva (Justice) Harper

Geneva (Justice) Harper, 76 of Verner gained her Heavenly Wings on Sunday, March 6, 2022 from Logan Regional Medical Center, Logan, WV.

Born December 9, 1945 at Steeles, WV, she was the daughter of the late Sanford and Lois (Cline) Justice.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Benjamin “Ben” Harper; brothers: Larry and David Justice; aunt: Nola Lovich; step-children: James and Michael Harper: step-grandchildren: Michael and Jeremy Grimmett and Justin Walker; step-father: Fred Bailey

Geneva loved shopping, listening to music, and cleaning. She enjoyed spending time with her family and playing with her great grandkids. She was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Those left to love and cherish Geneva’s memory are her sons: Terry Harper of Verner and Jerry Harper of Hanover; stepchildren: Karen Collins and Danny Harper, both of Davin and Benny Harper of Shady Springs; granddaughter: Shannon Collins of Verner; great-grandchildren: Brayden, Landen, and Journee, all of Verner; step-great grandchildren: Brittany (Matt) Goodman of War Eagle; Timmy (Elaine) Grimmett of Boone County, and Danny Harper of Accorville; and a host of other great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of other dear friends and relatives. 

Friends may gather with the family Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 12:00 till 1:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert, WV. Funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm. with the Rev. Denny May officiating.  Burial will follow in the Justice Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Justice, WV.

Geneva will be carried to her place of rest by family and friends.

She may be gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
