Georgia (Cline) Paynter

Georgia (Cline) Paynter, 87 of Baisden, WV departed this life Saturday, June 1, 2024, from her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born December 17, 1936, at Baisden, WV, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Stella (Morgan) Cline.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years: Charles W. Paynter; brothers: Sidney, Ross “Jake”, Leck, Willard, and Wilford Cline.

Georgia was a retired postal clerk, she loved attending her garden and flowers, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Those left to love and cherish her memory are her daughters: Kathy (Terry) Vance, Karen (Phillip) Cook; granddaughters: Candace (Wes) Eddy, Rebecca (Blake) Keylon; grandsons: Hunter (Shay) Lester, Kaden Cook; great grandsons: Connor Keylon, Brett Eddy; special niece: Glenda Cline; special caregiver: Sarah Hinkle.  She also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 12:00 till 1:00 pm in the chapel of Mounts Funeral Home where funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm with Elders Hobert Hamilton and Freddie Cline officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ritchie Family Cemetery at Baisden, WV.

Georgia will be carried to her resting place by pallbearers: Terry Vance, Phillip Cook, Hunter Lester, Kaden Cook, Wes Eddy, Blake Keylon, Jared Lester.  Honorary pallbearers are: Reuben Mitchell, Jerome Cline, Dwain Montgomery.

Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
