Glenn “Geral” “Grizzly” Rasnick, 69, of Justice, WV departed this life on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, from his residence.
Born May 15, 1953, in Hickory Bottom, WV., he was the son of the late George and Betty (Walker) Rasnick.
Grizzly loved to fish, ride around with his dog “Rowdy” on his side-by-side, and work on projects around his community. He was a pillar in the town who would help anyone that needed him. He was an Army Veteran and a member of the U.M.W.A.
Those left to love and cherish his memory is his wife: Wanda (Sims) Rasnick; his daughter: Betty “Sissy” Cline; sons: Glen “Bubby” and Jerry Rasnick; brothers: Larry, Cortney, Stevie, and Roy Rasnick, all of Justice, WV; sisters: Gladys Rambo of Monroe County, and Joann Adkins of Pikeville, Ky; grandchildren: Brandon Cline of Gilbert, Savannah Johnson of Browning Fork, Andy Cline of Daytona, Florida, and Madison Trent of Coal Mountain, WV, a special great niece, Jenna Hatfield, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
The family would also like to give a special thank you to his nurse, Pam Harvey.
Friends may gather with the family Tuesday, November 1, 2022, from 12:00 till 2:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, in Gilbert, WV. Funeral services will follow visitation at 2:00 pm. With Pastor Bill Cresong and Rev. Chet Cline officiating. Burial will follow at Justice Memorial Gardens in Justice, WV.
Gerald will be carried to his final resting place by his family and friends.
He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
