Harmon "Bub" Ellis, Jr.

Harmon (Bub) Ellis, Jr. 60 of Bruno, departed this life Friday, February 28, 2020 from CAMC Memorial Hospital.

Born on August 18, 1959 at Man, he was the son of the late Harmon and Janice (Glandon) Ellis.

In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by sisters: Sandy Bailey, Opal Blankenship, Shirley Gill, Barbara Newman; brothers: Charles, Kager, Darrell, John Steven, Michael (Poss), Ricky and Buddy Ellis.

Harmon enjoyed golfing, gardening, being outdoors, and he loved spending time with his family and friends.  Harmon was of the Church of God Faith.

Those left to love and cherish his memory and to mourn his loss are his sons: Nicholas (Misty) Ellis of Man, Eric Ellis of Teays Valley, Shane Ellis of Elk Creek; granddaughters: Alyssa and Abigail Ellis, both of Man, and Savannah Ellis of Lenore; brothers: Harold (Lynn) and Danny Ellis of Accoville, Jack Ellis of Newark, Ohio, Larry Ellis of Florida; sisters: Kaye (Mike) Roberts and Sharon Hatfield, all of Chapmanville, Wanda (Larry) Sites of Petersburg; a very special mother-in-law: Daisy Morgan.  He also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Sunday, March 1, 2020 at the Bruno Church of God for a memorial service beginning at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Roger Frye and Rev. Bill Cantrell officiating.

To honor his wishes, his remains have been cremated.
