Hubert Riffe

Hubert Riffe, 78, of Tamcliffe, departed this life Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from Cabell Huntington Hospital.

Born on October 3, 1942, he was the son of the late Burton and Minnie (Simpson) Riffe.

In addition to his parents, Hubert is also preceded in death by his brothers: Eddy Ray and Billy Riffe; his sister: Hazel Howell; his brother-in-law: Milford Howell; his beloved pet: Scooby Doo.

Hubert loved fishing and hunting when he was able, he enjoyed talking and visiting with his friends.  He was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his precious pet and companion: Pearl; niece: Wilma Mullins of Wharncliffe; nephews: Jimmy Howell of Wharncliffe, Travis Blankenship of Stafford Branch, and Dustin Blankenship (Jessica Morley) of Browning Fork; great niece: Savannah Kay Mullins of Tamcliffe; great-great nieces: Davonna Teresa Blankenship of Browning Fork, Skyla Adrionna Mullins of Williamson; great-great nephew: Skyler Mullins (Shawna Hicks), both of Williamson.  He also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 12:00 till 2:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will commence at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gary Browning officiating.  Burial will follow in the Justice Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Justice, WV.

Hubert will be carried to his resting place by his family and friends.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
