James Leonard Perry, Jr

James Leonard Perry Jr. 57 of Iaeger, WV. Passed from this life on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Logan Regional Medical Center.

James was born June 29, 1964 in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Elizabeth (Hatfield) and James Leonard Perry Sr.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Michelle Perry.

James loved watching NASCAR. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his real love was playing golf. Most of all he loved his family and spending time with them.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife: Marlene (Mounts) Perry; three sons: Mason, Joshua (Taylor) and Cory (Josie) Perry; three stepsons: Travis, Douglas (Ashley) and Cameron Cline; three sisters: Lisa Perry of Justice, WV, Valerie (Shawn) Miller of Cleveland, Oh. and Jennifer (Gary) Puszak of Cleveland, Oh; two brothers: John Perry of South Bay, Fl. and Robert (Wendy) Jesonosky of Cleveland, Oh; three grandchildren: Harrison, Harlan and Ellie Perry; one special uncle; Sidney Perry of Indianapolis, In; special friend: Ronald Dalrymple.  He also leaves behind a host of other loving family, friends, and relatives.

Friends may join the family on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 6:00 till 9:00 pm. at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel where funeral services will commence on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 1:00 pm, with Rev. Jeremy Compton officiating. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery at Justice, WV.

James will be carried to his resting place by pallbearers:  Josh and Cory Perry, Douglas, Travis and Cameron Cline, and Joey Ellis. Honorary pallbearers are: Mason Perry, Teddy Stanley, Josh Compton and Sidney Perry.

 2 Corinthians 2:3 “And I wrote this same unto you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all.”

He may be gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
