Jessie James Blankenship

Jessie James Blankenship, 67 of Gilbert, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.

Born on December 11, 1954, he was the son of James and Ruby Blankenship.

Jessie was proceeded in death by his brother Johnny Blankenship.

Jessie was a general laborer who enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved spending time with family.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents James and Ruby Blankenship of Gilbert, WV, son: Chad Blankenship of Maine, Brothers: Kenneth Blankenship (Stella Hatfield) of Gilbert, Freddy (Sherry) Blankenship of Gilbert, Jackie (Eva) Blankenship of Gilbert, his sister: Sherry (Randy) Hatfield of Pigeon Creek, Sister-in-law: Debbie Blankenship of Horsepen, WV, and a host of nieces and nephews.

In honor of Jessie’s wishes his remains will be cremated and no services are being held.

Jessie will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved him.
