Jessie Lee Church, 50 of North Spring, departed this life Sunday, February 11, 2024 from Logan Regional Medical Center. Born October 23, 1973 in Pike, KY he was the son of Buddy Church and the late Lorraine (Thomas) Church.
In addition to his mother, he is also preceded in death by his sister: Jenette Marie Church.
Jessie enjoyed riding 4 wheelers, fishing, and hunting, he also liked digging ginseng, and anything to do with being outdoors, he loved being in the mountains. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Those left to love and cherish his memory are his companion: Robin Stanislaus; his children: Alivia, Shiane, and Savannah Church; his brothers: Jamie (Christina) Church, Melvis (Cassie) Church, Bobby Church, all of North Spring, and Adam (Charlotte) Church of Glen Alum; stepfather: Wash Church of Thacker, WV; nieces and nephews: Winter, Axle, Matthew, and Marcus Church, and Dusty, Renee, and Christian Maynard; aunts: Gladys Allen and Zola Fields; uncles: Carl Thomas, Jr., Ralph Thomas, all of Blackberry, KY, Delane (Pauline) Thomas of Hardy, KY, and Travis Thomas of Wharncliffe, WV. He also leaves behind a host of relatives, cousins, and friends.
Friends may gather with the family Friday, February 23, 2024 from 12:00 till 1:00 pm in the chapel of Mounts Funeral Home, where funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm with Rev. Gary Browning officiating. Burial will follow in the Thomas Family Cemetery at Blackberry, KY.
Jessie will be carried to his resting place by his family and friends.
He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
